TalentBridge President and Other Local Leaders Win $10,000 for Charity

Charlotte, North Carolina – May 31, 2016 — Brad Violette, president of local search, staffing, and HR advisory company TalentBridge, was part of golf team that scored a first place low net victory in the 2016 Priorities Cup hosted by Barry, Evans, Josephs, and Snipes at the Charlotte Country Club.

The reward is a hefty $10,000 prize that can be designated to local charities. Mr. Violette, along with Nish Patel of Beacon IMG, Inc., were guests of Gary Parker and Brad Loman of GreerWalker. Together, the team has elected to split the award between Communities in School and Samaritan’s Feet, so each charity organization will receive $5,000.

“Not a bad result for a great day on the golf course,” said Mr. Violette.

Mr. Violette chose Samaritan’s Feet because he believes in their mission of helping children in Charlotte who are in need.

“We have enjoyed a great relationship with Manny and Samaritan’s Feet for four years now,” said Mr. Violette. “To date they’ve given over six and a half million pairs of shoes to children in need.”

Manny Ohonme, CEO and co-founder of Samaritan’s Feet, is thrilled with the news.

“Our partnership with TalentBridge, really, we’ve seen it grow over the last few years,” said Mr. Ohonme. “To see what their footprint is in the community is pretty amazing, to use their impact to change the world of children. Brad and his TalentBridge team are a true blessing.”

The other prize money recipient, Communities in School, has a mission to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. As the nation’s leading dropout prevention organization, Communities in Schools is helping build a stronger local community where every child is capable of reaching his or her greatest potential.

Mr. Violette encourages other teams and organizations to opt to donate prizes and awards. “It’s such a powerful feeling to give back in this way,” said Mr. Violette.

TalentBridge is Charlotte’s premier search, staffing, and HR advisory organization. Since 2002, TalentBridge has been helping the community by matching great companies with fantastic employees and impacting the local community through philanthropic efforts.
