Lead Analytics Consultant
Location: Phoenix, AZ (priority), Des Moines, IA (priority), Charlotte, NC, Minneapolis, MN, San Antonio, TX Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
 
Job Description:
Responsibilities: 
Advise experienced leadership on the development or influence of statistical modeling, analytical strategies, and advanced data visualization for complex business and technical needs.
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques, advanced data from multiple sources, and mathematical analysis across the enterprise.
Design and lead complex projects, analyses, and application of techniques across the enterprise, delivering long-term, large-scale solutions.
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.
Engage with peers and managers across the enterprise, serving as an expert advisor to the leadership team.
Develop and enhance daily processes to support new initiatives within the Data Science team, focusing on data engineering and data processing.
Create predictive models using SAS and Python on defined populations.
Enable data processes, seeking new approaches to increase efficiency, and ensuring daily automated processes for running data models are completed without error.
Troubleshoot and remediate any errors, flaws, or issues found in automated processes.
Collect and connect appropriate data from various sources, combining structured and non-structured data.
Compile and organize datasets for analytics, report building, and storytelling of customer experience through complaint handling processes.
Develop hypotheses regarding trends and drivers of customer feedback, executing analytical processes to support or disprove them, and organizing outputs effectively.
Lead analytical projects with clear communication of objectives, tasks, and timelines.

Required Qualifications: 
7+ years of experience in Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling, Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Proficiency in SAS and Python for building predictive models and converting SAS programs into Python.
Strong data engineering skills, including ETL/ELT and tasks across multiple data sources.
Experience in building data pipelines, effective controls, and performing in-process testing against them.
Data process development management experience desired.
Proficiency in optimizing SQL queries or optimizing dashboards for queries and reporting.
Experience with Shell scripting language for automating analytic processes.
Familiarity with working in distributed environments and moving data at scale.
