Job Description

Job Summary: The Sales Compensation Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company's sales compensation programs. This individual will work closely with the sales leadership team to ensure that compensation plans are aligned with business objectives and competitive in the marketplace. The Sales Compensation Manager will also monitor and analyze sales performance to ensure that compensation plans are effective and make recommendations for improvements.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage sales compensation programs
  • Work with sales leadership team to align compensation plans with business objectives
  • Conduct market research to ensure that compensation plans are competitive
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and compensation data
  • Make recommendations for improvements to compensation plans based on analysis
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and HR, to ensure that compensation programs are integrated with other employee programs
  • Communicate compensation plans to sales team and provide guidance on plan details and calculations
  • Assist with the development of sales targets and quotas
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales compensation design and management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of sales compensation best practices and trends
  • Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Familiarity with sales performance metrics and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
