Position Overview:
As a Demand Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate forecasting and demand planning to support our ambitious growth targets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Production, and Supply Chain, to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and historical data to develop accurate demand forecasts and effectively manage inventory levels. Your insights and recommendations will guide critical business decisions and contribute to the company's overall success.

Responsibilities:
Develop demand forecasts: Utilize a combination of historical data, market trends, and customer inputs to generate accurate and reliable demand forecasts for various products and markets.
Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to gather information, understand market dynamics, and incorporate inputs into demand planning activities.
Monitor and analyze data: Continuously monitor sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior, and analyze relevant data to identify patterns, demand drivers, and potential risks and opportunities.
Inventory management: Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory. Implement appropriate inventory control techniques and collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure efficient inventory management.
Demand planning accuracy: Measure and improve forecast accuracy by evaluating forecasting methods, demand drivers, and underlying assumptions, and implementing appropriate enhancements and adjustments.
S&OP coordination: Actively participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to present demand forecasts, contribute to capacity planning, and align cross-functional teams on demand and supply expectations.
Communication and reporting: Effectively communicate demand plans, forecasts, and related information to stakeholders, including senior management, sales teams, and production teams. Generate regular reports and performance metrics to track forecasting accuracy and inventory performance.
Process improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices in demand planning, forecasting methodologies, and inventory management to support the company's growth objectives.
Market research: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights and recommendations to support business strategies.
Cross-functional collaboration: Foster strong relationships and collaborate effectively with various teams, including Sales, Marketing, Production, and Supply Chain, to align demand plans with production capabilities and ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in supply chain or forecasting is a plus.
Proven experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
Proficiency in demand planning software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Advanced knowledge of forecasting methodologies, statistical analysis, and demand planning principles.
Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
