Job Description
We are currently sourcing for top notch experienced logistics professionals with excellent communication skills, the ability to juggle multiple clients, strong dispatching experience, and willingness to work a flexible schedule
Responsibilities:
- Always provide excellent customer service to customers, Delivery agents, vendors, and partners.
- Utilize software system to dispatch loads to drivers in the proper order and ensure drivers complete workload in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate directly with customers regarding their requirements
- Communicates with clients and customers when necessary to advise them of delays and or updates.
- Aid by telephone, chat and email to customers, contractors, and delivery agents.
- Handling customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Communicates with clients and customers when necessary to advise them of delays and or updates.
- Processes changes or cancellations to delivery orders.
- Proactively monitors progress of delivery routes.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills; ability to diffuse client frustrations.
- Ability to communicate in a professional/courteous manner.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communications skills.
- Bilingual person is strongly desired but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work in and handle stressful situations & high volume of phone calls.
- Experience working with personal computers and business applications is required.
- One year experience in a customer service environment is strongly desired.
- Must be able to multitask
- High school diploma or GED is required.
Skills
- Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position in the logistics field
- Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment working with B2B clients and transportation partners
- Tech-savvy with working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Proficient in English (oral and written) (+Spanish is a plus)
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Active listener with excellent communication skills
- Sound judgement and critical thinking
- Grit and the ability and proven performance to work in a fast paced environment.
Schedule:
Must be available to work nights and weekends with flexible scheduling
40-hour work week with 2 days off during the week
Primarily Day shift hours
Hybrid Schedule- In office days and WFH days
