TalentBridge is seeking a skilled and innovative Product Engineer. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom solutions that meet the unique requirements of our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, manufacturing, and R&D, to ensure the successful development and implementation of our products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering, a deep understanding of power transmission systems, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with sales and customers to understand their specific needs and requirements for industrial applications.
- Design and develop custom solutions, considering factors such as torque, speed, load capacity, efficiency, and environmental conditions.
- Conduct detailed analysis and calculations to ensure product performance and reliability, utilizing relevant engineering principles and industry standards.
- Create 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of product designs into the production process.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate design concepts and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to identify and incorporate new technologies and innovations into product designs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in power transmission systems.
- Provide technical support to sales teams, customers, and other stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on product selection and application.
- Participate in product development meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and developing solutions for industrial applications.
- In-depth knowledge of power transmission systems, including gearboxes, motors, couplings, belts, and chains.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct detailed calculations and analysis.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ANSI, ISO) related to power transmission.
