Local dynamic and rapidly growing organization in Charlotte is searching of a talented Staff Accountant to join their finance team!

Location: South Park (Hybrid 3 days in office / 2 days remote) 

Position Overview:

As a Staff Accountant you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background in accounting, proficiency in credits, debits, and account reconciliations, and a strong aptitude for working with large ERP systems. This position provides ample room for growth and development, with the potential to advance into a senior-level accountant role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. General Accounting: Execute day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.

  2. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  3. ERP Systems: Utilize your knowledge of large ERP systems to efficiently manage and analyze financial data.

  4. Excel Proficiency: Leverage advanced Excel skills to create financial reports, models, and forecasts.

  5. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance.

  6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the implementation of streamlined accounting processes.

  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and provide support as needed.

  8. Professional Development: Take an active role in your own professional growth, seeking opportunities to expand your skillset and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in credits, debits, and account reconciliations.
  • Experience working with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
