Pay: $40- $41/Hr. on w2
We are seeking a talented Collateral/Margin Operations Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in our Collateral Operations Unit, where you will be responsible for monitoring and managing daily margin requirements for our diverse portfolio of clients across various financial products, including Rates, Commodity, Structured Credit, Equity, and Foreign Exchange.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily margin requirements for clients and counterparties across multiple financial products.
  • Assess and evaluate counterparty net exposure to determine collateral requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk management policies.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and derivative products, including ISDA, IFEMA, and PSA documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Trading, Risk Management, and Legal, to address margin calls and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and effective communication regarding margin requirements and collateral management.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyze large sets of data, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within the Collateral Operations Unit.
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail, particularly in identifying unusual flows or triggers for collateral in complex trade structures.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in the finance industry, with a focus on collateral management, margin operations, or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and derivative products.
  • Familiarity with ISDA, IFEMA, and PSA documentation preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
