Job Overview
The Senior Compensation Analyst supports the implementation, communication and administration of Americas region compensation programs, policies and practices to ensure they are cost-effective, internally equitable, externally competitive and compliant with all applicable regulations. This position serves as a subject matter expert for Compensation Processes & Systems and will provide comprehensive analytical support for the design and administration of compensation programs, position evaluations & salary recommendations.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the Americas Region Annual Compensation Cycle including the annual merit increase, general wage increase and short-term bonus. Responsibilities for these critical processes include budgeting, planning the timeline, communication and execution.
- Evaluate and market price positions at all levels of the organization to ensure the compensation program remains market competitive.
- Support execution of job grading for Americas Region.
- Manage the development and ongoing maintenance of pay structures
- Oversee the annual market data collection process by executing, tracking and monitoring survey purchases, submissions and results
- Serve as point of contact and subject matter expert for compensation concerns with HR & Hiring Managers.
- Support the HR team members by preparing compensation recommendations to facilitate promotions, demotions and lateral job changes.
- Remain current on industry trends, best practices, compliance & new/progressive processes that enables the organization to offer a competitive compensation program.
- Monitor, interpret, and implement relevant pay practice changes to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory standards and laws governing the compensation programs across all Americas region geographies (i.e. FLSA classification).
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years compensation and/or total rewards experience.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to drive programs independently.
- A firm commitment to confidentiality and ability to operate with a high level of integrity and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (i.e. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex conditional formulas, basic macros) with an ability and desire to conduct analysis on large data sets and draw conclusions/make recommendations.
- Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize workload and follow-up in a timely fashion
- Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and collaborate in a cross-functional team environment
- Knowledge, understanding, and application of Federal and State employment laws: ERISA, FLMA, FLSA, EEO, etc. r
- Demonstrated advanced analytical and critical thinking skills to conduct complex analyses and develop data-based recommendations
