Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Lab Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our laboratory for a coating and disinfectant company. The Lab Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating lab activities, maintaining lab safety and cleanliness, overseeing lab personnel, and managing lab resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise lab personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Oversee the daily operation of the laboratory and ensure it runs smoothly
- Plan and execute laboratory experiments and research projects, including data analysis and interpretation
- Maintain laboratory safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
- Manage and maintain lab inventory, equipment, and supplies
- Develop and implement laboratory policies, procedures, and protocols
- Conduct and supervise laboratory tests and experiments
- Maintain accurate records of lab activities, experiments, and results
- Ensure quality control and quality assurance standards are met
- Troubleshoot equipment and experimental issues
- Work collaboratively with other departments and cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
- 5+ years of laboratory management experience
- Experience in the coating and disinfectant industry preferred
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulations
- Experience with laboratory equipment and software
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
