Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Prepare, review, and sign legal filings and court documents.
– Attend and represent the client in assigned judicial hearings.
– Communicate and advise private counsel on cases.
– Communicate with project staff regarding legal questions, opinions, and interpretations.
– Act as an adviser on legal issues involving compliance.
– Review legal data and advise on appropriate legal action to be taken.
– Coordinate litigation and other legal matters handled by outside counsel.
Minimum Requirements:
– Juris Doctor degree with 3-5 years of experience consulting within designated function.
– Develop solutions to complex problems which require regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
– Interpret applicable regulations and policies associated with case to determine recommendation.
– Plan implementation, training, and solution deployment.
– Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
– Regularly contribute-s to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills.
– Considered expert in field within the organization.
