Job Title: Customer Service Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our clients while demonstrating proficiency in brokerage operations. Your strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with your expertise in Microsoft products, will enable you to effectively assist our customers and provide them with timely and accurate information.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and their inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Utilize your brokerage operations experience to address client questions and concerns related to account management, trading, and investment products.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of financial regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance and adherence to company policies.
  • Use your Series 7 certification and maintain an active status (or the ability to quickly reactivate it within a 2-year window) to effectively assist clients with their investment needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues, escalating as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize Microsoft products, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, to document and track customer interactions, as well as generate reports and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Continuously stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance customer service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Active Series 7 certification or the ability to quickly reactivate it within a 2-year window.
  • Previous experience in brokerage operations, demonstrating a strong understanding of investment products, trading processes, and account management.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve customer issues.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
