Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Loan Documentation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of various loan documentation duties on moderately complex loans, ensuring strict adherence to the company's policies and procedures for loan products. Your key responsibilities will include processing and closing moderately complex loans, interpreting loan documentation policies, analyzing applicant information, property details, and documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for ordering all necessary verifications, documentation, and conducting follow-ups as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform loan documentation for moderately complex loans.
- Process and close loans for various loan products.
- Interpret loan documentation policies and analyze applicant, property, and documentation.
- Order all required verifications, documentation, and conduct necessary follow-ups.
- Receive direction from the Loan Documentation supervisor and escalate non-routine questions.
- Manage an assigned pipeline of loans and provide guidance and training to other Loan Documentation team members.
- Interact with the immediate Loan Documentation team and functional areas on routine processes.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Loan Documentation experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 6+ months of experience in customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environments.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong telephone etiquette with inbound/outbound call experience.
- Ability to navigate multiple screens and computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand and meet deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid team environment.
- Production mindset.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 8am – 5pm
