Job Description

We are seeking a talented Operations Processor to join our Standby Trade billing team that supports the billing functions and services for Standby Trade portfolio team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs) and ensuring that all terms and conditions are met before making payments to beneficiaries. You will also manage the SBLC throughout its lifecycle, including amendments, extensions, and cancellations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue SBLCs on behalf of the applicant and guarantee payment to the beneficiary
  • Verify the authenticity of SBLCs and ensure that all terms and conditions are met before making payment to the beneficiary
  • Manage SBLCs throughout their lifecycle, including amendments, extensions, and cancellations
  • Make payments to beneficiaries if the applicant fails to fulfill their obligations under the transaction
  • Communicate with both the applicant and the beneficiary to ensure that all parties are aware of the terms and conditions of the SBLC and that all requirements are met


  • Microsoft proficient, particularly in Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and oral communicator
  • Self-starter with a track record of demonstrated initiative who does not require micromanagement
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Accounting skills preferred, but at a minimum, must be highly proficient in business math skills
  • Knowledge and experience of working in an operations environment
  • Professional and courteous
  • Desktop/laptop experience
  • Strong work ethic
  • Reliable without competing priorities (e.g., other employment, etc.)
